CHAINLINK ($LINK) APPROACHES ORBITX FOR ALIENS OF MALAYA. SET TO MEET ON MONDAY.
The most widely used oracle network for powering hybrid smart contracts, Chainlink ($LINK) approached Orbital Exploration Technologies, Inc. (OrbitX) Founder Dexter Bano for a possible collaboration and working relationship. According to a representative sent by Chainlink, the call is to explore areas for both organizations and projects to work together. The Chainlink representative also told Bano via Telegram that they would like to see how they can support the Aliens of Malaya initiative. The call will happen on February 7, 11 P. M. Manila time.
OrbitX introduced Aliens of Malaya late last year to explore the maximization of Non-Fungible Tokens. The company has been interested in building diversified projects that will cover space transport (Haribon SLS-1), environment/sustainability, decentralization, art, engineering and research, and smart city which can work seamlessly with one another that could serve as a prototype of a futuristic city. Through Aliens of Malaya NFT, OrbitX has been planting hundreds of trees in different locations in the Philippines. AOM has a goal of 2,500 trees to be planted and 2,500 lbs of waste to be retrieved within the year. The company also provided aid to Asian creators (mostly Filipinos) by educating them about blockchain, NFTs, and many more. They also collected projects from promising creators. Recently, they were named as part of “21 Top Blockchain Startups/Companies in the Philippines” even though blockchain is just one of their interests.
Chainlink or LINK is a decentralized blockchain oracle network built on Ethereum. It was founded by Sergey Nazarov who has also been accused to be “Satoshi Nakamoto”, the creator of Bitcoin. Chainlink has a market cap of 7.5 Billion United States Dollars. Chainlink allows smart contracts to interface with real-world datasets in a secure way via its decentralized oracles.
